Bailiwick is currently partnering with a Real Estate Investment Trust in Greater Baltimore that has a newly created Director/Manager level Tax opportunity. A highly visible role, this individual will take ownership over the Tax function for a growing national REIT. As the go-to Tax resource, responsibilities will vary from hands-on tax operations and filings to strategic Tax planning and guidance. The Director of Tax will also consult with senior management and support transactions.
As this REIT continues to grow, the Director of Tax will align internal and external resources to build out the department as they see fit. As the SME for Tax, this is a vital role at the organization that will regularly interface with the CFO and executive team. The compensation will vary depending on experience but it is targeted at $130K base, plus 20% bonus.
