Job Description

The candidate for this Senior Product Manager position should have a high level of curiosity about our client’s customer’s needs and be able to translate those needs into a clear message. The position requires a broad scientific background with experience in sales and/or business development.

Key functions include but are not limited to:

  • Create and execute sales strategies and tactics for distribution channels
  • Develop product strategy including identifying areas of growth, creating strategic marketing plans to drive customer engagement, market perception, and product definition
  • Develop core positioning and messaging for product lines
  • Acquire deep customer knowledge by reaching out and interacting with customers to better understand their technical requirement

Ideal candidates will have:

  • PhD or Master’s degree in life or physical sciences required. MBA is a plus
  • 10+ years of marketing and sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years product marketing experience within the life sciences
  • In-depth knowledge of molecular biology, NGS proteomics experience is beneficial

 

Our client develops and produces products in the molecular biology field. This company specializes in a broad range of applications from Genomics, Cell Biology to Pharmaceutics.
