We are currently working on a Principal Scientist / Study Director focused on Toxicology Studies in Mid-Atlantic with a recognized leader within the Biologics testing and manufacturing markets. Our client has been around for over 70 years and is extremely stable, yet still growing at a high rate. The firm has recently made significant investment in their technology and is known as a leader in the biopharmaceutical testing marketplace.
This role will provide scientific direction and oversight for a variety of assays performed in the Mammalian Toxicology department. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a high performing and well recognized company and be a part of their growth to the next level.
Desired Experience:
– PhD in Toxicology or related. Will consider M.S.
– At least 6 years of industry experience focused on Toxicology with a preference for experience with carcinogenicity testing.
– Expertise with study design, implementation, and routine monitoring of studies.
– Ability to lead, direct, train and mentor other Scientists within the group. Prefer prior experience working with customers or a strong desire to be in a technical customer facing role.
– Must be in the Maryland/DC region or be able to relocate to the area. Relocation assistance is provided.
