Job Description
The ideal candidate for this position is proficient as a synthetic organic scientist with high energy and love for continually learning. It is imperative this candidate is a team player while also being an innovative leader. The Senior Research Scientist II will be tasked with designing and identifying target compounds and chemical intermediates.
Key functions will include but are not limited to:
- Conduct laboratory operations in compliance with safety rules and regulations
- Play a role as a technical consultant
- Use of a wide variety of practical laboratory skills
- Dispose of chemicals in a proper manner
Ideal Candidates will have a successful track record in the following:
- Ph.D. Degree in Organic Chemistry or equivalent experience
- At least 10 years of related organic laboratory experience, including independently leading projects and directing other scientists.
- Chemical Hygiene Training
- Other related training
