We are currently working on a Director of Research & Development in Mid-West with a recognized leader within the API and Pharmaceutical Contract Manufacturing marketplace. Our client is well established and in a high growth mode giving someone the opportunity to come in and Hire, Build, Develop and Manage the entire R&D team. This position will be a part of the company’s core leadership team and be an integral part of key decisions. Desired Experience:
– PhD in Organic Chemistry or related field.
– At least 12 years of hands on experience within the Pharmaceutical and API Manufacturing marketplace with significant leadership experience.
– Must have experience working within the CMO marketplace. Can have Big Pharma experience, but must have proven leadership experience within CMO market as well.
– Must be able to demonstrate leadership capability and strong strategy experience. Ability to develop direct reports and also participate in change management within a R&D setting. Ability to demonstrate results driven leadership.
– Ability to work cross functionally and lead mutli-directional teams. Experience providing technical presentations and working internationally is preferred.
