We are currently working on a PhD Senior Scientist focused on Biologics Analytical Service in Mid-Atlantic with a recognized leader within the Biologics testing and manufacturing markets. Our client has been around for over 70 years and is extremely stable, yet still growing at a high rate. The firm has recently made significant investment into the Analytical Services Lab and Group providing their scientists with the best technology in the market. Desired Experience:
– PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Bioanalytical or related field.
– At least 5 years of industry experience focused on Biopharmaceutical analytical testing including methods development and validation for characterization.
– Expertise working with mass spectrometry techniques for intact protein characterization, glycoprotein analysis, N-terminal sequence identification, peptide mapping, and disulfide mapping.
– Experience working with HPLC, SDS-PAGE, Capillary Electrophoresis and other current glycoprotein and carbohydrate characterization techniques.
– Ideally having prior supervisory or leadership experience. Ability to lead, direct, train and mentor other Scientists within the group. Ability to work cross functionally and lead mutli-directional teams.
– Must be in the Mid-Atlantic region or be able to relocate to the area. Relocation assistance is provided. Excellent Benefits!
